The 2009 Championship was closely contested with the teams finishing in the top 3 representing 3 different locations throughout the city. 1st place, Hepatitus Andronicus, compete Tuesday nights at Irish Times. 2nd place, Saucy Jack, compete Wednesday nights at Sardo's. 3rd place, Diskin's Icebox, compete Thursday nights at Cock n' Bull.
Most of the field of 28 teams still had a chance at finishing with a share of the $1,000 purse going into the the final question, but only 3 came out with an appreciation of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy!"
